World record for winning WSOP tournaments

The WSOP World Series of Poker, which is now taking place in New Orleans, has garnered far more attention than the organizers could count on.

The famous player Valentin Vorniku once again became the champion and received a record eleventh ring of the WSOP series. This record was recorded and separately noted by the tournament administration. Now Vorniku is the only owner of such a large number of champion rings.

The event took place on May 11 on the last day of the tournament. Valentine entered the last game as the chip leader. On this day, he beat many worthy opponents, receiving not only $ 64,205 in prize money, but also worldwide fame.

On the day of the previously described event, Vornik had 10 rings. Another famous poker player, Maurice Hawkins, could boast of the same amount. Each of them claimed the championship, but now the long-standing dispute has been resolved and Valentin deservedly got his place in the history of world poker.
