Online gambling software provider Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) has signed a long-term agreement with Irish casino operator Slotbox Limited to secure its debut in the online gambling market.
Under the terms of the deal, GiG, in an effort to support the launch of an online casino, Slotbox will provide its new partner with:
- gambling platform (PAM),
- solution for multichannel digital gambling,
- interface development tools.
Slotbox was founded by a team of casino industry experts who, through their experience, have developed the company into one of the leading gambling and casino operators in Ireland. The Dublin-based company currently operates eight gaming properties across the country, each offering a wide variety of gaming experiences.
The Slotbox online gaming operation will operate under the same name. The operator will use GiG’s multi-channel solution to merge their online and offline divisions and provide players with the ability to join from a single point of registration and use a shared wallet and loyalty system to seamlessly navigate between digital and retail operations.
The agreement between GiG and its latest client is based on a combination of flat fees and a revenue sharing structure. Slotbox is expected to launch its online casino in Ireland by the end of the year. GiG expects the partnership with the Irish operator to contribute positively to its profitability from 2021.
Commenting on the upcoming launch of his online casino in an alliance with GiG, Slotbox Marketing Head John Doyle said:
We are focused on building loyalty and value for our customers through a combination of great digital products, operational excellence, technology leadership, and excellent service.
Mr. Doyle continued:
We look forward to continuing to innovate and build on the success already achieved in Ireland through our partnership with GiG and the ability to deliver a premium multi-channel experience to our players.
GiG CEO Richard Brown said:
The combination with Slotbox, which has extensive experience and presence in the Irish land-based casino market, presents an excellent opportunity for both parties. We look forward to providing our online gambling solution and omnichannel experience for Slotbox customers.
The CEO of GiG also noted:
Our alliance and their player focus will help create a first-class product and further enhance GiG’s reputation for expanding established land-based casino operations on the internet.
We wrote at casinoz that last month GiG announced its entry into the Hungarian online gambling market as part of the platform’s partnership with the local land-based operator Casino Win. The company will facilitate the debut of Casino Win in the Hungarian online gambling space.
